Camp Reinberg Hike and Campout
Troop 28 had a fun but chilly campout at Camp Reinberg in Palatine IL. We made a 5-mile hike to satisfy a Camping merit badge requirement. We followed the yellow hiking trail.
There was frost on the tents in the morning, and all the Scouts earned their Polar Bear patches for tent camping in freezing weather.
