Webmaster Minute: WordPress to Astro
Webmaster minute! This weekend we moved our three Glencoe Scouting websites off of WordPress and onto GitHub and Astro.
The sites are now editable with any tool that connects to GitHub, and a Scout webmaster can update them with PagesCMS.
Our site files dropped 95% in size, from 2 GB to 85 MB. No more WordPress bloat, and our web hosting fees dropped by 66%!
