Thank you for your interest in donating to Troop 28’s Scouting for Food collection for New Trier Township Food Pantry. You can drop off your donation at Glencoe Union Church any time between 2:00 and 6:00 pm on Sunday May 2nd, or add this free “item” to your cart and check out to provide us your address to request a donation pickup during those same hours.
Please place non-perishable donations in a bag or box, labeled clearly with “TROOP 28 SCOUTING FOR FOOD” and leave by your front door or in a similarly accessible spot, by 2:00 pm on Sunday, May 2nd. Feel free to leave additional pickup instructions when you check out.
While making your donation, please consider purchasing a spaghetti dinner meal kit at the same time. Proceeds benefit New Trier Food Pantry, Family Service of Glencoe, and Troop 28.
The Food Pantry is especially in need of:
- Brown and white rice*
- Pasta and pasta sauce*
- Cookies and crackers*
- Granola bars*
- Toothpaste and toothbrushes
- Laundry detergent
* Food items must not be expired.
