Troop 28 and Glencoe-based merit badge counselors are available for most Eagle-required merit badges as well as several electives. Scouts are encouraged to work with a variety of counselors both within and outside of the troop.
Cooking Merit Badge is a great Eagle-required Merit Badge for scouts to start thinking about early in their scouting career. Scouts interested in standing for election for leadership positions or who would like to be considered for appointed roles should understand responsibilities and complete an application.
Get to know your local natural environment using iNaturalist — to help with Second and First Class rank requirements, or just for fun! Identify 10 plants and/or 10 animals and submit your findings to complete the troop challenge!
