Troop 28 annually aims to have a monthly weekend outing throughout the school year, usually within a three-hour drive of Glencoe. Even during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the troop adapted transportation and tenting protocols to allow scouts to continue to experience the outdoors. While this year’s schedule continues to evolve based on the decisions made by our current youth leadership and the latest pandemic guidelines, you can see some of the currently planned activities below, along with some of the adventures we’ve taken over the last few years.
